Why a pregnant woman need a nursing bra?

• During the pregnancy, child inside you will grow and your ribcage will grow accordingly to accommodate the child. It is far better to buy a nursing bra with many hook button to adjust as per demand. After the delivery, you ribcage and size of bra will change very fast. To accommodate that kind of breast changing speed you may have to buy many nursing bras or go for adjustable bra.
• While your band size will decrease after the delivery, your cup size will increase due to the pressure of the milk oozing from the breast. Within 3-4 days your breast will start producing milk and size of the breast cups increases.
Many lactation professionals suggest than nursing moms wear soft cup bras as the underwire can cause a clogged duct by digging in to the breast tissue.

Measuring a right kind of nursing bra for your breast shape and size is not a rocket science. It is way simpler than you think otherwise. You must measure yourself while wearing a soft cup unpadded bar. First measure your ribcage just under your bust. That would give you’re the right size for your band of bra. Suppose, if it come 31 inch, take 32 size bra.

Then measure around the top of your breast where your nipple of breast stay. Then minus the size of ribcage under your cup. This would give the right kind of cup size for your.
If difference is 1 inch you’ll wear an A cup
If difference is 2 inches you’ll wear a B cup
If difference is 3 inches you’ll wear a C cup
If difference is 4 inches you’ll wear a D cup
If difference is 5 inches you’ll wear a DD cup
If difference is 6 inches you’ll wear a E cup
If difference is 7 inches you’ll wear a F cup

Should I go down a band size for a push up bra?

I’m a 34 A. I’ve been wanting to get the new Aerie push up bra. It’s the Isabel one. I have two of the Paige push up bras and they are 34 A. You can’t tell I have anything when you look from the front but from the side there’s a hint of some there.

I’d stick to a 34 A if you’re going to wear it for longer than 10 minutes. A band 2 inches smaller than you is going to be miserable and can be pretty painful since it cinches your ribcage.
