Beaded Lanyard
Lanyards, also known as lanyards, are cords or straps that are worn around the neck for holding and displaying identification cards. They have gained popularity over the recent years due to rise in security concerns. They are used in schools, corporate sector, government agencies and so on. Various types of lanyards are available in the market. To name a few, there are beaded, woven, custom, breakaway and non-breakaway.
Beaded
Beaded lanyards are basically used to hold ID cards. They are very ornamentally designed and are therefore sometimes considered to be a piece of jewelery. There is a vast array of beaded id necklaces varying in length, color and material. One of the trendiest beaded lanyards is the metallic lanyard having an electro-static steel beaded neck chain. Different kinds of beads are used in the making of these necklaces ranging from glass beads to seed beads to crystal beads. Obviously, they vary in cost depending upon the material used.
Woven
Woven lanyards are known for their durability. The range of woven lanyards is remarkable. If one has a break away flat woven lanyard with o-ring, the other consists of a non breakaway lanyard with a bulldog clip attachment. The precision, with which woven necklaces are made, makes them suitable for workplaces. These are long lasting and do not fade away with time. They are perfect from the point of view of security and are ideal for schools and companies where identification badges are required. They give a professional touch to the employees of any company and thus leave a good impact on viewers.
Breakaway and Non Breakaway
These lanyards are usually made up of a plastic adjustable cord. Non breakaway lanyards are stiff and generally non elastic in nature. On the other hand, breakaway laniards are quite elastic. In the case of the breakaway style, the two pieces of lanyard can be separated easily when force is applied. This is a safety feature for circumstances where your lanyard could catch on something.
Custom
A great way to promote your brand is to print your brand name or logo on your lanyard. Custom lanyards are usually made up of flat cotton, nylon and polyester. They can be customized according to your specific needs. The process of printing acts as a major criterion for deciding the type of material to be used for printing. For example, if you are using screen printing process, then it is best to go for cotton and nylon based lanyards. Similarly, for hot stamping, polyester is the best choice in comparison to rest of the materials available in the market.

Pink fishing vest/lanyard…?
My husband bought me a pink fishing vest that I absolutely love. I also have a mayfly lanyard that I like, but think it would be wonderful if I could find a lanyard that has pink foam and more feminine beading on it. Has anyone seen such an item? I’ve searched google, but can’t find anything.
To be honest im surprised he found a pink fishing vest, kudos to him as i havent seen any, except for those by fishpond, finding a lanyard will be hard, you have two options here, either make one youre self or try this company, they are starting to develop a lot of fishing gear for women fly fishers
