First off is tungsten carbide as your material of choice. There are gold and platinum rings and there are tungsten carbide made ones, depending on what you as a couple decide on they are all great choices. Gold and platinum rings are expensive and a bit prone to scratches though, so you may need to re-polish them over the years, and you might need to replace them eventually as well, but they do look good when you first buy them and for a long time after that.
Tungsten carbide on the other hand is very durable and will last for a very long time, possibly generations even. Tungsten carbide also has a permanently polished appearance, which means they do not need to be re-polished after a short period of wear. Tungsten carbide rings are often chosen as a symbol of love because the shine will last as long, if not longer, than your love for each other unlike other types of metal.
Secondly would be whether or not you should buy identical tungsten wedding bands or not. Most couples traditionally buy identical wedding bands, same color, same design almost the same in everything aside from the size, because it symbolizes their being one as a couple. Still, couples of today are slowly adapting to changes in wedding traditions, they opt to choose different styles of tungsten wedding bands each according to their personality; different in each aspect because they are, as man and woman, different from |diverse from each other so they choose tungsten bands which suits their individuality. Whichever you decide on is acceptable.
Lastly would be the cost of your tungsten wedding bands. Depending on your style and the materials used, tungsten bands can vary in price. Still, we suggest that you do not buy cheap ones which will only last for a few years. The cheap tungsten rings are often made with cobalt, instead of nickel, which will turn your finger green and could shatter if you drop them on a hard surface. Choose the tungsten wedding bands that will suit both your taste and you will wear comfortably all the time. Because wedding bands are meant to be worn on those fingers forever as a symbol of your being a couple who is meant for each other, you want to make sure you love the wedding ring that you have chosen.

I was thinking about getting a Tungsten Carbide Ring for my husband. I was worried that it couldn’t be cut off – but my friend who is an ER doc said differently.
Anyway. I was looking into this medal and/or titanium. I will eventually buy him a gold ring but I just cannot now.
Does anyone own a ring like this? I just feel kinda bad that I cannot get something with a precious medal.
My fiance wears a titanium right right now (as like an engagement ring).. and he prefers it over gold. He does construction so if he had a gold ring it would just get bent up in a second. I think it’s all a preference… however, if you are looking at just a simple band (gold) without diamond or anything… I think they prices are comparable, defiantly look into it.
