There is no need for a link cable. Once you completed your Pokedex and are able to go to PalPark, you can go inside and catch the Pokemon you migrated from Ruby. In Ruby, insert the Pokemon you want to migrate into your team. Make sure you delete any HM moves. But first, at the menu screen on Diamond, you have to scroll down on selections and pick “Migrate from Ruby.”. Then, you pick the Pokemon you want to migrate to Diamond. After that, go to the Palpark, and start catching your Ruby Pokemon.
