Recording TV programs while watching a different channel on my NTL digital box?

Recently I updated my NTL anolog box to digital, since then I cant record a TV program while watching another TV channel.
I can only record what I watch.

It can’t be done at the moment but there are developments in the pipeline so that your ntl: box will have HD, Two tuners and host of other extras!!!
