What Pokemon should I use in Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver?

i’m gettin my ds today and might start over my soul silver game cause i havent had it in soo long. tell me who to use in soul silver and help my team in heart gold

I’d get this team when i start:

Totodile – Starter
Pidgey – Flier
Heracross (you get it at azalea town when you headbutt trees which you will get in the azalea forest)

So thats basically your first team

LAter in golden rod city i would get this team

Croconaw(evolved from totodile)
Pidgeotto
Heracross (cant evolve)
Growlithe You’ll find after golden rod city (after national park )
Onix or Geodude for a rock type

When you get to about the 6-8 Gym your final team should be

Feraligatr
Pidgeot – You can get Luigia so you can delete Pidgeot out of your team?
Sneasel (get it to evolve into a weasle)
Arcanine (train growlithe to level 47 or 48 then evolve it cause arcanine cant learn anymoves
Steelix or Golem ( steel rock or rock ground )
and maybe an HM slave (krabby) (teach krabby rock smash surf whirlpool and flash? if he can learn it?)

Then For the elite four Team
Feraligatr – Waterfall, Thunder, Ice fang or ice punch or blizzard or avalanche , and Crunch
Pidgeot (if you choose it) Fly Aerial Ace Close Combat and U Turn
Luigia (if you choose it ) Ancient power , Fly , Punishment and another move that you like )
Weasel – Ice beam,Avalanche , Shadow Punch or Shadow claw, and a move that you like
Arcanine – Heat wave , Crunch,Flame thrower and Strength or Flare blitz
and last I’d Go with Catch Raikou (thru out the game) or get Golem or Steelix
Raikou- Thunder ,thunderbolt ,iron tail and a move of your choice
Golem- Stone Edge , Stealth Rock ,Double edge and an elemental punch
Steelix-Iron Tail, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock ,Thunder fang
