Silver necklaces require different treatment because of their tarnishing properties. A special silver cleaner should used to remove these spots. There are wipes, creams and liquids specially designed for this.

To store all necklaces, utilize that section of the jewelry box that has hooks. You know the ones where the doors open up and the hooks are placed across the back of the door? Those are for hanging your pieces. Otherwise, they could quickly become a mass of tangled chains. It is a true test of patience to have to untangle this mess!

How much does it cost to get a pearl you already have placed into a ring, silver or gold?

What is the average price for placing your own rock (pearl) into a gold or silver ring? If it is any help the pearl that I have is gold toned and is worth 50-60$. I am a size 7 in rings too. PLEASE HELP!

Judging by the price it definitely not a south sea pearl and you didn’t give the size of the pearl. So you wouldn’t want to spent too much on the setting. Since you said gold toned it difficult to judge cos without knowing if its light gold or gold gold. Assuming its light gold you could set it on a silver ring. But if gold gold toned it would go better if you set it in gold. But for me all my pearl rings are set in white gold and set off with some diamonds in varies design. As to the cost, you must take it to a jeweler and if its just a simple setting you want, some jeweler do keep stock of rings either in gold or silver etc with the center empty. So if you find the right one with the right price its just a matter of them glueing the pearl to the setting. Hope this helps.
