I usually end up on the Neiman’s cosmetics site, trying very hard to purchase ‘pretty’.

Here’s my routine:

1) Realize that I’m sad/mad/hormonal/itchy/whatever
2) Sign in to over-priced site
3) Believe all hype
4) Spend atrocious amount of money
5) Wait anxiously for UPS guy
6) Receive items, dance with joy
7) Wear beautiful new makeup/skin care products
Have allergic reaction
9) Apply ointment to reduce swelling/hives
10) Cry when I remember that ‘pretty’ can’t be bought…at least for me.
