my dad found this old pendant, and i’d like to know what it is?

this pendant has some weird letter s on it that look like they could be greek. it also has a picture on it, it looks like a pair of eyes. it is small and round, about the size of a canadian nickel. it seems to be copper. if anyone has any input about what this could be, it would be apprecitated. thanks:)
