The articles made from counch shell are very much appreciated among the Indian households.however the items made from counch shell are costly as compared to other types of shell craft.
One more popular form of shell craft is tortoise shell craft. Jewelery boxes and covers are made from it. The boxes are created in beautiful floral and geometric patterns. The best use of tortoise shell craft is with the ivory. It gives an orange glow. Bangles, bracelets, spoons, forks, lockets, costume jewelery, decorative measuring bowls, armlets, small boxes, bangles, jewelery, decorative items, table lamps, ashtrays, buttons etc. Are made from this shell craft.
Sea chells are found along the coastal areas of the indian beaches. The crafting of shells is practiced by the people living in coastal areas. Red ear slider eating sea shell?
I have a thick bed of gravel with a mixture of river rocks and sea shells. My turtle has been taking bites out of one small shell. Should i be concerned?
id take the shell out…just in case…if you have it filled to the brim with water put a bunch of minnows in for it to chase…if not, put a small pool in, then minnows
