Fact #1: Silver measures high on the hardness level.

Yes, just like genuine diamond jewelry which rates highest on the hardness scale, silver is not to far behind. One thing that silver jewelry is definitely behind in is cost. You can expect to pay a very small fraction for silver jewelry if you were to compare it against diamond jewelry. The fact of the matter is although the pricing structures are very different, the hardness scale is not so much different as one would think.

Fact #2: It is the perfect backdrop for cubic zirconia.

These two mix up perfectly and have always been in the back of silver jewelry designers all over the world for past fifty years. It’s very rare that you see cubic zirconia aligned with any other precious metal such as gold, platinum, stainless steel, or the many others. In fact, industry statistics show that over sixty two percent of silver jewelry ends up in contact with cubic zirconia.

Fact #3: Silver jewelry will become more rare then gold jewelry.

It sounds crazy at first, doesn’t it? Let me explain why this is a proven fact and not just an opinion. The world’s silver reserves are quickly running out, but there is plenty of gold left in the world. When a commodity becomes more rare it’s price has to organically increase to meet the high demand. When this happens, silver will become more rare and the price of silver jewelry will sky rocket!
