Is silver a natural product?
I am wondering because im trying this whole green thing and i have two silver rings so what i want to know is is this hypocritical of me to wear silver?
Yes it is natural, but not necessarily green. It is not good for the earth the way they mine silver.
I am by some standards very green, yet I wear some jewelry. I don’t think anyone who is making better choices more often can be a hypocrite. Going green is about changes habits to reduce our impact on the planet. I’m not perfect, nor am I striving to be. However I do consider the impact of my purchases and habits and try to make the best choice. There needs to be a balance, for example, I try to buy organic cotton clothing, I have a teen son and I have to allow him to have some say in what he wears, we compromise, I buy him fewer items than I would have in the past, but they don’t have to be organic cotton.
