SPOTTING A FAKE PANDORA

Pandora jewelry is really all about the Pandora beads. People, mainly women, just go crazy when they discover new designs of Pandora beads. It’s a break-out concept that allows users enough freedom to customize their jewelry; and the market for Pandora beads and jewelry continues to grow everyday. Birthstones, glass beads, gold and silver; name it and there’s a Pandora bead made of it.

Unfortunately, the popularity of Pandora Jewelry has led to the proliferation of fake Pandora beads. Real Pandora beads are cheap compared to other jewelry; however, they can still be quite pricey to most people. For starters, each Pandora bead is marked the letters “ALE”, which should be visible to the human eye. Silver Pandora beads are, then, followed by series “925ss” (after the “ALE”); and gold Pandora beads are followed by the numbers “585”. Once you see these series of letters and numbers on the Pandora bead you are examining, you can be quite sure that you’re looking at the real thing.

It is also quite easy to determine if Pandora beads made of glass are fakes or not. A glass Pandora bead has a design created directly inside the glass, while a fake glass Pandora bead will have the design painted on the glass. Also, fake Pandora beads are usually inferior in quality and tend to break easily.

Another obvious way to check if a Pandora bead is real is the selling price itself. If you feel that the price of the Pandora bead is too good to be true, it probably is. Also, since there is no way for you to check on the markings of each Pandora bead sold on the internet, it might be better to veer away from purchasing your Pandora beads and jewelry over the world wide web altogether.

Finally, if you still doubt that what you are buying isn’t a genuine Pandora bead, you might want to check if you are dealing with an authorized seller of Pandora beads and jewelry. Pandora jewelries’ official website maintains a list of accredited dealers and resellers of Pandora beads you can purchase from.

How to clean Pandora Bracelet?

I have a Pandora bracelet and I haven’t worn it for a while. I left it on my bathroom counter, and now it is all sticky and gross! How can I get the stick stuff off the bracelet and charms without damaging the silver?

DON’T USE SILVER CLEANER!
My Aunt Danielle got chemicals on her bracelet and the whole thing turned like a brownish color and she was so upset. So she asked what to clean it with and the woman said extremely HOT water and soap and just let it soak in there. But don’t soak it in silver cleaner because that can mess up some of the charms. If you want to put the silver cleaner on a Q-tip though you can clean the actual BRACELET with that, but not the charms. : )
