Can a stainless steel dog tag necklace be worn in the shower?

I recently purchased a stainless steel dog tag necklace and I am wondering if I should remove it or if I can wear it when I shower.

if its real stainless steal it wont rust and it wont turn ur neck green so na it doesnt matter. nothing will happen
