What are Gemstones?
Gemstones, also called gems or jewel, are valuable stones that are used in making jewelry or ornaments.
What does Gemstone comprises of?
Well Gemstone is made of minerals and sometimes rocks and organic materials also. Rocks like lapis lazuli can be considered as gemstone and organic material like amber or jet can fall in the category of gemstones.
What is grading in Gemstones?
Well grading is the method by which gemstones are distinguished based on the quality. The quality is checked in the laboratory, called AGL, hence grade the gemstones accordingly.
In how many ways, gemstones are cut?
The gemstones that are cut in the shape of dome and are polished on the opposite sides of the facets are called cabochons. They are opal, variscite, turquoise etc. Also other way includes that some gemstones that are polished at the facets and cut by a faceting machine at exact angles and hence are transparent in looks. Also while cutting, proper consideration must be given as if angle is too shallow, then the light will not be reflected back to the viewer every time the light passes through the stone.
Why are gemstones of different colors?
First of all let us discuss the reason of any material being colorful. It’s because of white light i.e. daylight which is a combination of different colors of light. Whenever, light flows through any material, part of the light is absorbed while remaining part flows through. This remaining part, which is equal to white light minus the absorbed light, reaches the viewer’s eye and hence makes the object or material colorful. For Example: ruby is red as the blue, yellow, green colors present in white light are absorbed and only red is left which makes the ruby looks red. Also colors can be absorbed with the help of impurities. For instance: beryl which is colorless can be made to appear in two colors like green with the help of impurities like chromium impurities that changes beryl into emerald and pink i.e. pink morganite, with the help of addition of manganese impurity.
Why and what are the treatments that are given to the gemstones?
The gemstones are treated in order to improve its color or clarity by treating the gemstone with heat or doing waxing or oiling and hence augmenting the value of the gemstone. Also to make the gemstones look attractive, fracture filling treatment is applied.

girls name: Firoza is pronounced fee-RO-zah and it means turquoise (the gemstone) in Arabic andhas never been ranked in the top 1000 girls names.

2. For Oberon, probably Ogur, Obz, Ronny Firozaa would be Roza or rosy probably they dont seem like names you would give a nickname to be honest
