New Balance Rock & Tone Review
The New Balance Rock & Tone has taken a while to come to the market, with the big toning some brands already having a fair few months head start on New Balance. Whilst it is no surprise that the runner’s favourite brand has entered into the toning shoe market, it is surprising that it has taken them so long to do so. However the wait appears to be worth it, with an extensive range of benefits provided, and a style which looks more like a trainer than a toning shoe.
For anyone undecided on the best toning shoes to buy, the New Balance Rock & Tone is a strong contender, with a wider range of benefits than many well established toning shoe brands. Increasing muscle activation in the buttocks, calves, hamstrings, quads and abs, the range is larger than that of Easytones and Shape Ups. Increasing muscle activation by up to 27% it is on a par with Reebok toning shoes with added posture enhancing benefits. Compared to the Shape ups, the technology is similar, utilising a rocker sole to activate the muscles and improve the posture. However the Rock & Tone offers more style than Skechers Shape Ups, with a design which looks more like a running shoe than muscle toning shoes. The shoes increase calorie consumption, and therefore fat burning, by up to 8%, something which no other toning shoes claim or have quantified.
The New Balance Rock & Tone has also been released in a sandal style for the summer offering a year round toning program.Whilst the toning sandals are the same price as FitFlop, the New Balance Rock & Tone offers a considerable price advantage over the two main toning trainers, with a starting price of $60 it is $20 less than Skechers Shape Ups and $25 less than Easytones.

If it’s on your face use a shade darker of foundation to what you usually use and then add some bronzer on top so it looks even. If it’s on your body that’s easy. Use some self-tan on that parts that aren’t tanned until you get a matching color.
